// Motor-Controller-Zither-Synthesizer //

is an experimental synthesiser based on RaspberryPi, Arduino Uno and Pure Data.

On the one hand, it consists of a control unit for playing string instruments via DC and servo motors. The signal is picked up by a contact microphone and fed into the sound processing unit. This enables various modulations of the original signal.

On-board effects: Reverb, Echo Distroyer, Echo12, Distortion

This instrument was developed as a final project of the ELAK university course at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
